About us. ProSolutions Software, Inc is the descendent for SelectComputer, Inc. SelectComputer developed software for spas and salons in the early nineties that was commonly refferred to as 'ProSalon' ProSalon became the industry standard and one of the first software companies in the field of salons and spas. By 1999, ProSalon was number one in the industry in terms of client base and rating. Over the years, the industryy has met with manyu changes and seen a large influx of choices in software solutions, most of which were heavile influenced by ProSalon. The team at SelectComputer included three brothers, Brent Wiggins, Stephen Wiggins, and Matt Wiggins. These three had worked in the salon and spa industry for years and worked with 'ProSalon' in numerous ways. Seeing a failure to meet the changing needs of the industry by the diffrent salon and spa sofware companies, these brethers believed that they were uniquely positioned to make those necessary changes themselves. The brothers fromed ProSolutions Software, Inc and purchased the company. Along with the team already in place, they began to immediately address the pressing concerns of today's beauty and relaxation industry. Increasing the size of the support department and dramatically increasing the size of the programming department were only the first steps. Changing the proprietary database to SQL Server (Microsoft's most powerful, sercure and flexable commericial database) and making the software easier to use with the features clients had been asking for were some of the important changes made. Addressing issues rasied by the industry that included loyalty programs, membership programs and medical spa needs were also on the agenda and have met with terrific success. The changes, the family ownership, the understanding of the industry, and our own desire to be the unquestioned best product possible are all reasons why an owner of a salon or spa should join the ProSolutions Software family.
